Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address – provided through Apple Sign-In for account authentication

• Date of birth – to customize health recommendations

Health and Wellness Data

To provide our core services, we collect health-related information you voluntarily provide, including:

• Bloating severity scores and history

• Bathroom frequency and stool consistency

• Sleep quality ratings

• Stress and mood levels

• Menstrual cycle data (if you choose to enable cycle tracking)

• Daily symptoms (bloating, gas, constipation, nausea, stomach pain, acid reflux, and other digestive symptoms)

• Activity and movement levels

• Water intake

• Personal notes about how you feel

Meal and Food Data

• Meal logs including food categories, notes, and timestamps

• Food photos you upload for AI analysis

• AI-generated health scores and nutritional insights

AI Coach Conversations

• Messages you send to our AI Gut Coach

• AI responses generated during your session

• Conversation history is sent to our servers for processing but is not permanently stored after your session ends

Profile Information

• Profile photos you upload

• Your selected health goals

• Onboarding questionnaire responses (eating patterns, triggers, day-to-day impacts)

Subscription Information

• Subscription status (active/inactive)

• Subscription plan type (monthly/yearly)

• Subscription start and expiration dates

• We do NOT collect or store payment card details – all payments are processed securely by Apple

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the App – including personalized health tracking, AI coaching, and meal analysis

• Personalize your experience – display your name, track your progress, and tailor recommendations

• Improve our services – understand how features are used to make the App better

• Communicate with you – respond to support requests and send important updates about your account

• Ensure security – protect against unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

• Secure authentication via Apple Sign-In

• Access controls and authentication tokens

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With your consent – when you explicitly agree to share information

• Service providers – we use Supabase for data storage and OpenAI for AI features, which process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations

• Legal requirements – if required by law, court order, or government request

• Safety and rights – to protect the safety, rights, or property of Unbloated, our users, or others

Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign-In – for secure account authentication

• Supabase – for secure data storage, authentication, and file storage

• OpenAI – for AI-powered coaching and food analysis features

• Apple StoreKit – for processing in-app subscriptions

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you services.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your Rights" below). Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access – Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
